Until we can meet face to face, I’d like you to get to know me a bit! But before we dive into that, please know this: from the moment you hit “send” on your inquiry, to the moment the photos are delivered safely into your inbox— the whole experience will be catered to you. Yes! It’s all about you, and it’s 100% okay! I want to learn about who you are, how I can best serve you, and how I can give you images you want to print and hang all over your home.
I don’t want our friendship to end once the photos are sent. I want to keep up with you and all you do in life. So if you’re wanting just a quick photoshoot with a stranger that you’ll never speak with again, we may not be a good fit. But, if you’re wanting an experience where you feel empowered and beautiful and your result leaves you with images you’ll want to share with everyone, then look no further.
Alright, now I think it’s only fair that you know who you’re working with! I’m Olivia, Liv, Livy, Olive Garden (yes that is a real nickname that my mom has called me since I was a little girl… and hopefully it doesn’t stick when you consider calling me one of these!). I’m a pretty good balance of extrovert/introvert, meaning I get so hyped up while driving to the photoshoot to connect with you and hang out, and I also get giddy and excited to go home, put on comfy clothes and edit all by myself (you can say this job is a perfect fit). If you can’t tell already from my ever changing headshots, I like to change my hair color a bit too frequently (my poor hairstylist).
I have nannied on and off for years, and am able to connect with kids so easily. I pride myself in making kids comfortable, which if you didn’t already know, is the number one most important aspect to family photos.
I am a Christian and hold on tight to those values, one of which being that I actively look for the best in people. I find beauty in those I’m with and my goal is to call it out so they see it as well. Formerly Olivia Applegate, I married my best friend and biggest supporter, Tim in 2021. He helps me brainstorm new ideas for my business, drives me to photoshoots and holds my camera bag for me. He is the best! Together we have a dorky doodle mix named Gus and he keeps us laughing always.
