Being the one to photograph specific seasons of life for families is an honor I cannot describe. I’m so aware of the passing of time, and my goal is to document each moment in a beautiful and emotive way. I don’t just take photos that look pretty— I take photos that tell a story.
These images are what you will show your children when they’re grown. You will pass them down to your grandchildren. And one day, when the details feel fuzzy or the memories feel like moments too long ago to remember, you can look through these images and feel it all again. The laughter and the tears, the chaos or the silence— every moment is different, every season of life looks different, but the one thing that remains will the the photos we capture together.
And that’s why it’s important to capture all the moments, not just the ones when everyone is smiling at the camera.
